Angelfish are a fairly easy egg-laying fish to breed. Angelfish also protect and care for their eggs until they hatch and the fry become free-swimming, which usually takes about 4 days.

In this photo, several hundred small golden brown Angelfish eggs can be seen on the upper portion of the grey stand-pipe.
